- Southwest Water Site Flooded.... APDS SAVE THE DAY AGAIN!
The Problem
When a major site had a pipe failure all pumps on the site were no longer able to operate. The electrical panels having been submersed in 2 meters of water were deemed un usable and the local area was now with out water. A solution had to be found that day to save localised flooding.
The Solution
Four APDS hire drives despatched with engineerd in a van These were installed on walls in an area away from the flooding and after the pump room had been pumped clear of water these were connected to the excisting pumps, commisioned and set to run untill complete new panles could be built, supplied and installed. The drives ranged in size from 55 to 132kW in wall mounted configuartions.
