APDS are Proud to be Supporting Mayflower 400

Next year sees the 400 year anniversary of the sailing of the Mayflower from Plymouth UK to Plymouth Massachusetts.

In September 1620, 102 passengers and approximately 30 crew sailed on the Mayflower for a new life in the New World.

There are major celebrations and events planned and many companies in Plymouth and South Devon are getting involved, including a customer of ours, nmcn (previously knows as Nomenca).

nmcn are supporting the special Olympics, which is being organsied to help promote awareness, integration and the realisation that people with an Intellectual Disability (ID) should be afforded the dignity and respect of society.

nmcn are spearheading the fundraising for this unique event, which will bring together groups from America, Holland and Great Britain.

nmcn approached APDS for a raffle prize donation and we thought what could be more appropriate than Plymouth Gin, purchased direct from the distillery.

The photos shows Andy Love, our Territory Manager for the South West, presenting the gin gift set to Samantha Murphy, Contracts Coordinator at nmcn.
