The Power of a Service Agreement

Friday, 1130am and one of our customers calls the office with a faulty drive on one of their AHU’s that requires an engineer to attend.

This customer has a service agreement with us covering all of their LV AC drives across numerous sites, with a guaranteed next working day response to site. Did we arrange for an engineer to attend Monday morning? No!

Within an hour of the call, we had an engineer on his way to site armed with a new 5.5kW IP55 ACH580 drive, in case the faulty drive was not recoverable.

By 4pm, a mere 4.5 hours from receiving the call, the APDS engineer had:

  • assessed the faulty drive,
  • replaced said faulty drive with the new ACH580 as it was not economically viable to repair,
  • commissioned the new drive,
  • cleared the work area and left site.

This phenomenal level of service is what we strive for!
